Chapter 6 was about making your audience like and trust you. Aristotle believed persuasive ethos had three qualities, which were virtue, practical wisdom and selflessness. Persuasive virtue require you to have the same values as your audiene. This chapter also spoke about Lincoln's opposition to slavery. Many people disliked his antislavery platform, but they liked him.
I learned that virtue was used differently throughout time and this chapter was very boring to me.
