Chapter 8 was about rhetorical trickery. Disinterest is the best word to describe Aristotle's selfless goodwill. Many presidents used rhetorical trickery to be elected and chosen to become the president. The most important part is your ethos. Your main goal in persuasion is to make the audience trust your sincerity.
I learned nothing useful from this chapter. I knew about rhetorical trickery before I read this chapter. Chapter 8 might be useful to someone else, but I didn't find it relevant to my life right now.
